Stephen has taught épée combat since 2024, after falling in love with the sport far later in life than most of his students. He earned his Moniteur d’Épée diploma from the United States Fencing Coaches Association in 2024, and competes regularly in tournaments across the Midwest. When not fencing, he practices law in Indianapolis and directs his church choir.
