Robert Carroll has been fencing since 2010 and specializes in saber. He is a competitive fencer and instructor with a peak rating of C. Robert originally got into fencing as a kid after becoming fascinated with the sport through Pirates of the Caribbean, but quickly fell in love with the speed, strategy, and competition. He describes saber as “speed chess with a little bit of adrenaline.” After taking several years away from fencing to pursue competitive motorsports, Robert returned to the sport with a passion for helping students develop their skills, become competitive, and work toward reaching the top. Outside of fencing, Robert continues to compete in motorsports.
